I visited Namaste Nepali Store recently and had mixed feelings. On one hand, the store owner and staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful—excellent customer service in that regard. However, the shopping experience itself was a bit frustrating. A lot of the refrigerators were completely empty, so I couldn't find many of the items I was looking for. More importantly, the floors were a mess with clutter, which felt unsafe and could easily cause someone to slip, trip, or fall. I love supporting local businesses and the staff's great attitude makes me want to come back, but I really hope management restocks the coolers and clears up the aisles for a safer, better shopping experience!

Namaste Grocery used to be a thriving business but over the last few years it seems to be declining. It feels unloved, unclean with empty freezers, dwindling stock, vegetables on the verge of rotting, expired items are out of date by years and missing price tags to name a few. Also prices are higher than other competitors so there is no incentive to go there. Even though they have a huge inventory it’s still not enough for the paying customers especially as Rochester is growing with new desi shops popping up.
